Why I choose Sightseeing Tours Australia’s Whitsunday Tour
What you get to see on the Tour
Whitehaven Beach
Hill Inlet
After sometime admist the soft sands of Whitehaven Beach, the tour headed to the North end, also known as Hill Inlet. This stunning inlet is where the tide shifts around in the sand, creating a epic pattern of blue to green shades. The tour spends some time here, before seting off again to the tropical greenery located nearby. Beginning a bushwalk through the thick foliage. Learning about the unique plants and animals as we travel through the fusion of colours.
Snorkel the Fringe Reefs
After trekking through the lush tropics, the tour finished at one of the many fringing reefs, offering flippers, goggles, and breathing tubes for everyone wanting a go at snorkelling. Snorkelling is one of my all-time favourite activities, and the Whitsundays did not disappoint. The warm, still waters were crystal clear, giving you a perfect view into the underwater world. The marine life is abundant within the area, and due to the reef’s tropical rainforest barrier, it was only us swimming around. Giving you a tranquil experience, you aren’t likely to forget anytime soon.
Glass Bottom Boat
Another available option at the reef was a glass-bottom boat tour. Although I chose the snorkelling activity, many who were uneasy swimmers leap at the chance. As you can properly guess from the name, the experience held on a boat where the entire floor section is clear glass. Giving a straight shot look into the reef without ever having to get wet!
